The safety of our members, guests and visitors is a priority at Moree Water Ski Club. All members are expected to follow Club rules, operate vessels responsibly and report incidents, injuries, hazards or damage as soon as possible.

Let emergency services know that the sign to turn to the ski park on the right before entry to the Moree Plains Shire Council tip.

If an Incident Occurs

1. Make the area safe
Stop boating/skiing activity where necessary and ensure there is no immediate danger to others.

2. Provide assistance
Provide first aid within your level of training and call 000 where required.

3. Notify the Club
Serious incidents should be reported to a nominated committee representative as soon as practicable.

4. Submit an Incident Report
Complete the online incident form as soon as possible while the details are fresh.

What Should Be Reported?

I'd make it clear that the form isn't only for someone getting hurt.

Report:

  • Injury or medical incident

  • Boat collision or near miss

  • Skiing incident

  • Property or facility damage

  • Equipment failure creating a safety risk

  • Unsafe behaviour

  • Hazard at the Park

  • Environmental incident/spill

  • Other significant incident or near miss
